Jewellery Care
Our jewellery is manufactured from the highest quality stainless steel and 18K gold plating. Stainless steel is highly durable and the 18k gold plating process adds a layer of elegance, making it an attractive and affordable alternative to solid gold pieces. With proper care you can increase your pieces' lifespan for years to come.
Cleaning:
When your 18k gold plated stainless steel jewellery starts to lose its shine, soak your item in a bowl of warm water and a small amount of dish soap for 15 minutes.
Avoiding Harsh Chemicals: It's crucial to avoid using harsh chemicals. Avoid spraying perfume or other sprays directly onto your jewellery. Wear your jewellery after you have sprayed on your favorite perfume. Wait until your lotion or cream is dry or has been absorbed by your skin before you wear your plated ring, bracelet or necklace.
Substances like oil, nail polish, nail polish remover, chlorine, perfume and the like may react with metal/plated jewellery and will cause it to tarnish easily. This also goes with sweat, so make sure you don’t forget to remove your gold plated jewellery when you exercise or anything that would require heavy physical work, and also when swimming.
Drying and Storing: After cleaning, thoroughly dry your jewellery to prevent water spots or tarnishing. Use a clean, soft cloth to carefully pat dry each piece, ensuring no moisture is left behind. Allow your jewellery to air dry completely before storing it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To prevent scratching or tangling, consider storing each piece separately in a jewellery box or pouch lined with soft fabric.
